EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or Tapping is remarkably effective and fast acting in its impact on shifting a range of conditions and unwanted behaviours, strong emotions and memories. EFT also works to increase or heighten desired emotional states or mood as well as energetic levels.
Kirsty uses a combination of traditional EFT and consciousness to assist you to release negative emotions and switch neural pathways.

Kirsty offers a complimentary 30-minute strategy consultation to work with you to design the optimum EFT program for your specific needs. This session is also a great opportunity to either meet in person or by phone or skype and address any queries directly as well find out how EFT can help you shift specific unwanted behaviours, thoughts, physical pain and discomfort.
A minimum of 3 sessions is advised to optimise EFT outcomes.
Emotional Freedom Techniques – EFT & Consciousness
What is EFT and how does it work?
EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques or Tapping is a non-invasive and gentle, meridian based relaxation technique. It is often described as 'acupuncture without the needles'. Whilst feeling the emotion, tapping on meridian points and expressing the problem or connecting to the energy of the issue, the emotion subsides and releases completely.
EFT is highly effective in treating a range of unwanted behaviours and conditions including anxiety, addictions, fears and phobias, physical pain and discomfort, trauma, grief and other strong emotions.
Your body can’t actually tell the difference between the fear in your mind and actual ‘real’ fear. EFT switches the Sympathetic (anxious) Nervous System into Parasympathetic (calm) Nervous System.
Utilising EFT, every time you tap on the meridian points; the body releases feel good hormones – DHEA, dopamine, endorphins, serotonin and oxytocin; sending a message to the brain to say “I’m safe, I don’t have to stress or panic about that”.
Blood returns to the frontal lobes of the brain enabling us to think more clearly and experience cognitive shifts just as you would in a Psychotherapy session.
EFT was developed by Gary Craig in 1993, working from the understanding that there is a vital energy that flows throughout the body that can become blocked or reversed through our experience of adverse situations or circumstances causing negative, long lasting reactions.
Restoring the energy flow through EFT, can balance mind and body, returning you to good health and increasing wellbeing. Craig states that, “The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system…. And that our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases.”
